We come out first to look at the opening. Width, height, headroom above the door, side room on both jambs, backroom back into the garage. Every one of these numbers changes what door and what track system will work. When install day arrives, we protect the driveway and pull the old door down first. Torsion springs get unwound with the right tools by somebody who’s done it before. Old track and hardware come off. New tracks go up plumb and level, new panels stack in, new springs get sized to the door weight, and everything gets balanced by hand before the opener touches it.
